I'm the chief engineer for

the eLearning system named Livelink for Learning Management, a Learning Management System integrated with Livelink: Livelink for Learning Management delivers a comprehensive system for training management. It allows organizations to provide a virtual classroom and collaborative environment with the advantages of a Web-based training experience. It capitalizes on Livelink's secure, Web-based central repository and document management functionality to enable instructors to transfer content, review assignments online, and test for comprehension. The instructor and the class collaborate in a virtual classroom, sharing information through discussion groups and chat rooms. Livelink News Channels are used to broadcast course information. Students and instructors can manage the learning environment to suit their schedules independently. Employees can be trained anytime, anywhere, and at their own pace.

the skills & competencies management system named Livelink for Skills Management: Livelink for Skills Management provides the ability to catalog, maintain, and assess levels of expertise possessed by employees. It allows an organization to determine where knowledge required to meet business objectives already exists within the organization, so that it can be leveraged to solve business problems. It identifies where shortfalls exist and training is required to enhance knowledge to meet the requirements of the organization. The ability to do effective recruiting by analyzing gaps and identifying the requirements for talent is enhanced, effectively targeting recruitment strategies specifically to the needs of the organization. Failure to quickly identify competencies required to meet business objectives is costly to an organization.
